When Wind and Rain Come at Night (for Orchestra) premiered in Taichung (11/29)
My new orchestral piece When Wind and Rain Come at Night was selected in the orchestral composition competition sponsored by Council for Cultural Affairs and was premiered by the National Taiwan Symphonic Orchestra (NTSO) in Taichung Chung-Hsin Concert Hall on November 29, 2011. There were four finalists whose piece was selected to be performed by NTSO. The competition result was announced right after the concert. My work When Wind and Rain Come at Night won the 3rd prize. (The 1st prize was not awarded.)
