This VJ system is designed in Max/MSP/Jitter for an interdisciplinary project Nexus combining choreography, real-time video, pre-recorded video and music performed in 2010 in Taipei. In this system, various real-time visual effects including video delay, distortion, blur, color adjustment, rotation, etc., are incorporated mostly with GPU implementation in order to achieve efficiency. The parameters of these video effects are controlled in real-time by the amplitude of the sound file and also by an event list advanced with spacebar.
