Morning Rain (for piano and interactive music system with Max/MSP) was composed during 2010-2011. It portrays the soundscape of morning rain in winter which is mixed with illusion and reality, and is blurred by the listener's vague consciousness when he is half-awake. The main real-time DSP effects used in this piece include reverb, delay, and filter mainly controlled by phrase onset, note density, accent detection. The piano pedal is also frequently used throughout the piece to help create the dreamy effect.
This is an amazing piece! You did a wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteI would like to choose this piece to be my presentation topic, is that possible is I can get the score and the patches from you?
Thank you so much for your music.
