Chien-Wen Cheng holds DMA in composition from the University of North Texas. As composer, computer musician, audio-visual artist, and programmer, he teaches full-time in the Graduate Institute of Interactive Media Design at National Taipei University of Technology in Taiwan. He is one of the few Asia-based composers whose work and research focus on real-time interactive computer music.

My new interactive composition I Hear the Wind Talking with the Trees is selected to be premiered at the WOCMAT 2012 conference at the National Chao-Tung University in Hsin-Chu on December 1, 2012.
